ABOUT
Patricia Dawson is a passionate designer with mixed design experience ranging from residential, hospitality styling and design, retail to precinct design.
Drawing on inspiration from travel and the beauty in nature she strives to bring memorable, unique spaces to life.
Starting out as an independent contractor working on residential designs in Sydney and the Southern Highlands, she created beautiful homes that reflected the personality of the homeowner. Designing and managing the construction she forged relationships with builders and trades as well as suppliers.
Patricia was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Bettina Hemmes at Merivale earlier in her career. There she gained experience in venue styling, working on the Coogee Pavilion and several other venues.
Working with Caroline Beresford Design 2016 and 2017, Patricia was blessed with creative license and a wide client base and was involved in the design of many hospitality and retail spaces including: The Welcome Dose, The Drink Hive and Saporium in Rosebery, The Cronulla Sharks Leagues Club, deVine Food & Wine, The Entertainment Quarter, Rouse Hill Town Centre, Fossix Café, Olé Restaurant, as well as the exciting VIP activation for Fairfax’s Good Food Month - Hyde Park Syndey CBD
During The Cronulla Sharks Leagues Club and Rouse Hill Town Centre projects Patricia had the pleasure of working with the interiors team at the highly regarded Architectural practice Cox Architecture, which was a personal highlight.
In Oct 2017 Patricia joined the team at Prospace design and was soon promoted to Senior Designer. This move allowed her to focus on retail and commercial design in Australia and abroad, from conceptual design to detailed documentation packages. It also developed her conceptual thinking through designing custom fixtures for each client including:
Hallenstein Brothers, Aje., Lagardére Travel Group - Relay, Whittaker’s Chocolate, Happytel Group, Burleigh Brewing, Tigerlilly and Timbuk2.
